AUTHOR
Marianne McCoy is an American Fine Art Photographer who grew up in Spokane, Washington. Her grandparents were both from immigrant families and her parents were teachers. Marianne cherishes her beloved grandmother, Antoinette, who inspired, influenced and fed her creative vision. Life lessons and challenges growing up in a small town with a large family were essential in the development of her style and ethics.
Marianne's extensive career has spanned 30 years. Education includes Cornish College of the Arts and The Photographic Center NW in Seattle. She has exhibited nationally, internationally and has been published many times. Teaching advanced classes in studio and natural lighting, alternative process including Lith printing and leading photography classes to Paris, France yearly, is a high point in her career. McCoy is currently living in Seattle, Washington and continues her passion of photography and believes - "some emotions have no words and are best expressed by a photography".
