AUTHOR
I'm a Fine art photographer. My work revolves around the ideas of shedding light into the darkness, and finding hope in any circumstance.
I was born and currently living in Saint Paul, Minnesota. My photography journey started in late 2012 as a way to document my explorations. Around that same time, I took a photography class that my high school offered and became more interested in the craft. I continued to pursue photography on my own time, experimenting in Photoshop and taking self-portraits. In 2014, I started my own 52-week project creating a fine art photo each week for the entire year in order to push my ideas and learn more about photography. I exceeded the 52-week project by the end of 2014 and was looking for a new challenge. In April of 2015 I started my own 365-project creating a fine art photo every day for an entire year in order to launch into a full-time photography career and focus on further improving my art.
I'm currently working on client projects, teaching photography, and building an artistic community. I am the founder of a collaborative group know as the ‘Minnesota artist community’, an outlet where artists can Inspire, motivate, and create together. I hosted my first photography workshop In October 2015 and I plan for teaching more in the future while continuing to mentor students individually.
