Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2016 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Earlier this year I was lucky enough to visit Bombo Quarry in the middle of a huge swell. Words can't really describe what it's like to stand on the cliff tops and watch this place surge and fight against the power of the ocean. From the boulders that rumble in the channels to the side of these basalt pillars or just the ocean ploughing into the old quarry walls, it really is breathtaking. Bombo Quarry is on the south coast of NSW, Australia.
