I’m living now in Todos Santos Mexico, a very inspiring place. I’ve been fortunate to have spent lots of time living on both the East and West Coasts of the U.S. with lots of wonderful and enlightening travel. The reference points we accrue through travel teaches us not only how others view us but who we can aspire to be.
My studies have included New York University, the Art Students League of New York, ICP in New York and the New School in New York and I’ve also had the good fortune to have assisted many wonderful artists and photographers on both a full time and freelance basis.
As an artist, I want you to become as intimate with my subject as I am. By combining images and text with subjects from my personal experience I hope to draw you into the relevance of my stories, but also ones that you can create for yourself. I enjoy using different sizes for my writing, to draw the viewer closer to the frame to match the intimacy that I felt with my subject, and at times larger to absorb the impact of a particular moment or the impact the relationship had on me. This current project is an exploration of the “whys” of the many moments in my journey.
