Wildlife: Honorable Mention 2016 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This is Dinar the majestic 28 year old male Orangutan from Perth Zoo. The image was taken from an off-exhibit roof top access, used by the keepers to feed the orangutans. The black and white treatment and textured background were added in during post editing. The image was captured using a Canon 1DXMII camera body and a 150-600mm Tamron lens. Perth Zoo is the first zoo in the world to release Orangutan's back into the wild.
