Wildlife: Honorable Mention 2016 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I am very fortunate to have access to areas that are unaccessible to the general public at my local zoo in Jacksonville, Florida. Madini, a 19 year old female, Western Lowland Gorilla was relaxing with her new born in the partial shade, trying to escape the Florida heat. Luckily I had my gear set up on the roof directly above her and was able to lean over and take several candid images of her. This one in particular was my favorite from my experience.
