ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This image represents the moment when someone is finally losing his/her mind and is cut off from reality. It symbolizes a traumatic moment outside time, an extreme state of mind as a psychologically transformative experience, a life-changing transformation that anyone can experience anytime. The photo is a part of the series Dhalgren, inspired by Samuel Delany’s weird science fiction novel with the same title.

AUTHOR
From 2016 to 2018 I studied artistic and applied photography at Prager Fotoschule in Austria. Through my background in creative and social fields and studies in Social and Cultural Anthropology, Art History and Cultural Management I have developed a strong interest in an interdisciplinary approach to photography and art.
