Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2017 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
'Thetford Forest has always been a special place. Growing up I enjoyed many holidays on the North Norfolk coast with my parents, and this was our 'half-way’ stop for a flask of tea and a sausage & mustard sandwich. Now, living in Newmarket, I’m fortunate to have this beautiful forest practically on my doorstep. It’s my 'go-to' place for peace and tranquility. 'Gentle Woodland' was made early one autumn morning last year. I loved the density of the trees and the patch of soft gentle light as the mist started to lift’. Technical: Nikon D800, 50mm f1.8 prime, f5.6 at ISO 800.
