M O J A V E (Kim) is a Los Angeles-based DJ and music producer who draws inspiration from the beauty and decay of Southern California's Mojave Desert. She travels the globe shooting on her Nikon, but feels most at home in the Mojave desert, capturing Joshua Tree's vibrant skies and Dr. Seuss-like terrain; Death Valley's sand dunes, salt flats, majestic lookout points, and amazingly resilient wildlife; Salton Sea's post-apocalyptic, decaying shoreline; Route 66's hauntingly beautiful abandoned ghost towns; Palm Springs' glamorous mid-century modern architecture, hip hotels and Coachella culture.
