Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2017 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Located in Budir (Búðir), Iceland on the Snaefellsnes peninsula, this small black church was built in 1703 and is a popular attraction for tourists. Shooting the church from a distance wasn't so easy with so many people around, so I decided to come back later in the evening to get an unobstructed view. Luckily, in May, the sun didn't set until after midnight. Those are black lava fields in the foreground.
