ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I shot this photo about the centre of our home galaxy, the Milky Way in my home country in Hungary near the Lake Balaton where I spent my childhood. The silhouettes of some peaceful hills are visible in the foreground, typical for this part of Hungary. That night was simply perfect for photographic observation of the summer Milky Way.

AUTHOR
I was born in Hungary and after finishing my medical studies I moved to Germany and works as a neurosurgeon in Stuttgart. Photography was always an important part of professional life for my research projects. However with artistic photography I started first in 2015 after buying my first DSLR camera. My special field of interest is astrophotography with my 8" newtonian telescope as well as wide field lenses. In terrestrial photography my favourite topic is the human being in black and white.
