AUTHOR
My name is Torsten "TeeKay" Köster and I take pictures.
 
I was born in Stuttgart in 1970, and in the same decade I took the first steps in photography. Later I have enjoyed a classical photo laboratory education.
 
My pictures - most of which originate in my hometown of Stuttgart - are based on the classic street photography: scenes and excerpts of people in the urban space. Humans does not necessarily have to be the main theme, but must also be able to fit into the overall context as a design component.
The focus is also on the, at first sight, inconspicuous, things of the city. I try to portray the everyday objects and places, which are seldom noticed, in a special character.
In short, I photograph life.
