ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Hercules cave in Tangier, Morocco, was once believed to be an underground connection between Africa and Europe – according to a legend, the famous Barbary apes entered Gibraltar through this tunnel. Nowadays, the cave with its famous “Africa map” shaped entrance is a popular spot for teenage boys showing off their diving skills.
