ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I took this picture in Benin. I had unique opportunity to witness traditional scarification ceremony held by Betammaribe tribe. Children at about two years must endure this painfull and scary -looking event, but for Betammaribe tribe it is part of their culture and herritage.
