ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Gajan is a popular festival in rural part of West Bengal, India. In this festival lord shiva is worshipped after taking a holy bath from nearest river. As a part of this event of taking lord for holy bath villagers believe that lord is taken to his palanquin by the priests not touching the ground.
