ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Much of Bhutan's remote roads are under construction to give the east access to the larger settlements of Paro and Thimphu. A large proportion of the work is carried out in challenging conditions with workers often seen drilling in tandem and using explosives to remove chunky rocks, boulders and debris falling from the perilous mountainous surroundings.
