ENTRY DESCRIPTION
It's a project that i wanted to do long time ago but i just had this opportunity to do it..
This picture is a part of a series of pictures including some more portraits with 7 more nationality from all around the world all covered by Chador(black and long scarf on the head) .
They first watch a 2 minutes documentary about Iranian women that i chose then i put 8 different objects on the table and after watching the documentary they choose one object by their desires and then they start their first experiences to wear the Hijab(chador).
the title is imaginary world because me and other models are all from different nationalities and they all accepted to wear the Hijab without any problem to show that we are all the same with or without something black to cover the body and the hair this is my imaginary world all together all the same with different religions and ideologies and the right of being free for all of us
the butterfly is a metaphor to show the freedom and she chose it and put it on the mouth with that super pure look..

I am Sogol Sobhi and i'm 25 years old.
I am Iranian and i Moved to Italy and currently i study photography in IED (Istitutto Europea Di design) in Milan.
i moved to Milan because of my passion which is photography because in iran there is no future or any chance for women as photographers specially in Portrait,fashion..and also i had some bad experiences just because of being a photographer but now i have this opportunity to be myself ,to be a woman and a photographer..to show to the other girls in my hometown that they should follow their dreams..
