ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I took this photo on a cold morning in October in Richmond Park in London. This stag was walking towards me and stopped only a few meters away and started roaring. As he was close I could just fit his portrait with antlers in the frame. A scary encounter but I stayed calm and took the picture.

AUTHOR
Growing up in the city of Amsterdam, nature and wildlife were far away. Once I got a job I traveled around the world with my analogue camera doing mainly travel photography. After an intentional photographic sabbatical I bought my first DSLR in 2012 which opened a new world. Living near a nature reserve I discovered nature and started exploring wildlife.
Being a passionate wildlife photographer since with a love for traveling I want to create a portfolio of images that evoke a narrative and where I hope to inspire other photographers. My aim for the future is simple, enjoy nature and be inspired by wildlife.
