Wildlife: Honorable Mention 2017 (amateur)
Barracuda Tornedo by Pier Mane
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Large schools of Barracuda are a common photogenic subject, but to see a tornado-school at 25m depth that extends itself all the way to the surface was an incredible sighting. I was privileged to find an angle where I could put one of this majectic creature in portrait mode followed by the entire colony all the way up to the surface. The composition took inspiration from Geo Cloete, WPY finalist image of the BoxJelly tornado.
