ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I noticed the natural framing of the art wall in the background and asked the model to mirror the framing with her arms and hands. The texture of the wall, dress, and stone was so rich that I decided that it would be best served by black and white conversion, as the dress was a bright red and would otherwise have been distracting.

My passion for photography stems from the ability of the camera, through its interpretation of the world - as framed, composed, and edited by the mind of the photographer - to create something utterly fantastic from the mundane, to see what the eye cannot, and to tell stories that stand the test of time. What the mind misses, the camera reveals. What the mind forgets, the camera preserves for eternity.
