AUTHOR
Internationally renowned Alex Cearns is one of Australia’s leading animal photographer and the Creative Director of Houndstooth Studio. Her images have won numerous awards and have been published widely in Australian and international print and online media, in books, magazines, campaigns, and even in an Australia Post stamp collection. Inspired by the joy of working with animals, Alex’s philanthropy and passionate advocacy for animal rescue has earned her high regard among Australia’s population of animal lovers. Alex’s 4th book will be published with Harper Collins in New York in October 2016. Alex is the Ambassador for Tamron’s Super Performance Series Lenses and Spider Holster. She is also the Campaign Ambassador for Guide Dogs WA and was recently named the Australian of The Day by the team behind Australian of The Year and was the recipient of the International Fund For Animal Welfare (IFAW) Terrestrial Photographer of the Year prize. She leads popular global animal adventure tours with World Expeditions and has a strong following on social media. Oh and she is a self-confessed crazy dog lady who loves to hug on all animals!
