ENTRY DESCRIPTION
THE QUEEN MAN

We all have in us, whether we are a man or a woman, the masculine and the feminine.
The relationship that man has with femininity may sometimes be a little complicated.
Between the feminine and the masculine, there is between the two, masculine or feminine with an important part of the other sex and that one is hetero or homosexual.
In these photographs, I place the man confronted with his fear and his complexes, anonymously, ornamented with a headdress.
With each of these morphologies, I adapted a pose, an attitude, a gesture by highlighting their share of femininity.

AUTHOR
Alexandra Laffitte born in 1982, is a native of Toulouse, she lives and works in Paris.
Passionate since childhood by the artistic crafts, she undertakes after a journey
General school, a training in pottery, in particular the decoration on ceramics before being oriented towards studies in the Visual Arts in Toulouse.

At the age of 20, she became an assistant in a photo laboratory for ten years.
In 2012, she took a retraining course at the Ecole EFET Paris where she would follow the full three-year cycle.

In June 2015, Alexandra graduated from the school with a special mention for her exhibition theme.

Currently, Alexandra works as an assistant at the studio Daguerre to perfect and realize her personal projects.
