AUTHOR
The photographer, Jürg Streun, (1952) trained to become a multimedia designer, scenographer and film/video producer after completing an apprenticeship as a decoration designer. His passion was always the staging of images and people, which is still evident in his photographic work today.

His long, versatile experience also sets Jürg Streun apart from a mere "hobbyist". Or, as Friedrich Dürrenmatt put it: “Anyone can snap a photo. Even a photo booth. But not everyone can observe. Photography is only art to the extent that it serves the art of observation".

Jürg Streun was born and raised in Bern, Switzerland. He lives and works in Zurich.
