ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The image was taken on the couple's wedding day...we walked along the bank of the river on one of the hottest days of the year. Day-trippers had come to enjoy the sunshine and I liked the juxtaposition of the radiant bride with the "ordinariness" of the on lookers.

AUTHOR
As a professional photographer having spent the past 15 years specialising in wedding and family portrait work I now enjoy exploring my own ideas and concepts with the aim of building up a body of work which reflects this, without the need to work within the confines of client expectations. Having the seed of an idea and then developing and allowing it to grow and then experimenting with a subject who also enjoys the collaborative process has been a revelation and source of fun this year.
