ENTRY DESCRIPTION
During a tour with Amma, the "hugging saint of India", I cam a cross this woman doing prostrations in front of a portrait of the spiritual leader. As I was on the first floor of the building, I shot this picture from above, thus ensuring the anonymity of the devotee, and making the image look almost abstract. The lines on the floor, to me, represent the rigour and discipline of devotion and the path of a spiritual journey.
