ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Mahouts (elephant handlers) taking their elephants to a walk in the forest. These mahouts are part of the Surin Project, that aims to help captive elephants in the city of Surin to have better living conditions. Part of the daily routine is to take the elephants for long walks and to bath in the river, activities that captive elephants in Asia are not allowed to do, being chained by both legs the whole day.
