Entry description:
This photo was taken to illustrate a mythological image of an Iranian woman, who battles the endless hardships of her life without violence. She has resisted all the misogyny and restrictions against her through the years... with her femininity and tenderness... She flows just like a river, and nothing can ever stop her... She moves with dignity and diligence. She resembles the Goddess Anahita, a great warrior in the Persian mythical legends, who was also a guardian of women and children, and the bringer of the graceful rains and clouds.
About photographer:
Mohammad Sorkhabi, musician and percussion instrument teacher born 1985 in Mashhad-Iran,also has been engaged with photography since 2013.
