ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Elder Chin woman from remote Rakhine State, Myanmar. These facial tattoos were a form of inter-tribal branding and are now a source of pride and adornment. The practice has died out, and lives only on the faces of these few remaining women in Rakhine and Chin States.
