ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The picture was taken in a building in Bolzano, Italy. View from the bottom of a spiral stairs. A glass ceeling on top of the stairs let light get in the dark spiral, which results in a smooth variation and play of shadow.

AUTHOR
I'm a 23 years old Architecture student and I moved for my studies from Italy to Austria. Photography has always been a big passion of mine, probably started when I found my father's old Rollei 35 in a Box. Since then the interest in photography has grown and so did the practice of this passion, which is also deeply related to my field of study. I love working with the light-shadow contrast and night photography, which gives me the possibility to use the long exposure technik. I think that photography is a quest for the right detail, the right moment and location. Despite being very intrigued by the architecture one, I love all kind of photography, from the leaf of a plant to the most desertic landscape.
