ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Victoria Memorial is a large marble building in Calcutta (now Kolkata), West Bengal, India, which was built between 1906 and 1921. It is dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria (1819–1901) and is now a museum and tourist destination.

AUTHOR
Debjeet Mukherjee is a young aspiring poet and writer from Kolkata. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate course in Economics from St. Paul’s Cathedral Mission College under University of Calcutta. His first short story “A Rural Coincidence” won a Commendable Mention at the Wingword Short Story Competition 2017 organized by Delhi Poetry Slam. His other hobbies include Numismatics and Photography for which his greatest achievement was receiving an Honourable Mention at the International Photography Awards 2017 under Non-Pro Wildlife Category.
