ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Bodh Gaya - India, where Buddha Shakyamuni was enlightened. The statue in meditation pose is 19.507m high and took seven years to complete. It is possibly the largest built in India and was consecrated on 18 November 1989 by the Dalai Lama.

AUTHOR
Giulio Zanni started photographing when he was a child. He started with documentary photography and then moved on to nature and fine art photography. Nowadays he is using the long-exposure techniques for most of his images. His work has been published in books and magazines and he won several awards.
