ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photograph was taken on February 3, 2017, near of the community of Tonila, Colima in Mexico. It was a big explosion that was heard on the site. I was lucky to take this picture. The high contrast in the volcanic plume was amazing due to the time of the explosion, at sunset. In this moment, the eruptive column was more high.

I am an amateur photographer who loves the photographs of nature, mainly from volcanoes. I live very close from Volcán de Colima in Mexico. In the year 2017 several explosions occurred and they launched ash and pyroclastic flows. Fortunately, I was able to capture the moment with my camera. I show you one of my favorite photos in black and white.
