ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The image was taken in July 2017 during one of my mountaineering trips in French Alps. Our group was just about to start a route at Aiguille du Midi. We got all our gear in place and rushed out of cable car station at 3,842 meters above sea level. The weather wasn't really good for climbing, as the same time it made a great opportunity for this shot.

In the modern world connection to the pristine nature becomes more and more challenging and thus more valuable. People tend to live in concrete jungles and surround themselves with digitized version of the world. In pursuit of trendy “picture”, many forget about true value of nature.

I seek this source of energy in my travels. Pristine forests and gorgeous mountains became my passion. I venture to the most remote locations, looking for the spiritual and emotional places. Photography helps me to preserve these emotions and experience.
