ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Late winter is a spectacular time to visit the Arctic region of Svalbard. Although the sun has woken from it's winter slumber, the winter landscape of snow and ice remains. This photo was take as we sailed through the early formation of sea ice, known as "pancake ice".
