Photojournalism: Honorable Mention 2018 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This is the road that I travel to return to visit my family once a year. This place is the skeletons of the lives of families who have lived here for years, before the war of the 90s began in the Balkans. The place is called D. Malovan and is a fraction of the houses on the Kupres. This is the war zone and after almost 30 years these houses are still there as a testimony that war destroys not only the houses but the roots of a people. It destroys hope in the future and leaves the dreams of children like this group of houses, destroyed and abandoned. Still there.
