ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This piece was made in October 2018, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The idea behind the image is to purposely incorporate a contemporary black woman within a cotton field as a historical reference to open a discuss about America's past that we still struggle to confront and uncomfortable talking about today.
