AUTHOR
Photography is my way of reclaiming my personal space and individuality, after a long career in nursing and bringing up and supporting a creative family.
Photography gives me a sense of my own creative purpose and independence. It gets me out and about, focused, obsessed and adventurous. My work is quite varied, I'm particularly interested in night and street photography and like experimenting with long exposures to create ghost-like images of where people have been; as if their 'Auric' imprint had been left behind. Living in London there is huge opportunity to discover unusual architecture and secret locations. I like to capture those unseen angles, as well as the traditional ones.
Also, as a huge lover of live music, I've developed my work as a concert photographer, which frequently gets me into crazy situations. I have volunteered for 8 years for - 'Daylight Music' - a lunchtime music session at Union Chapel, Islington, one of the most photogenic venues in London.
