ENTRY DESCRIPTION
With this photo, I want to illustrate the loneliness and isolation one can feel in an urban environment. The public life of the city street is made up of a wealth of small private experiences. I hope to illustrate a more universal urban condition, a kind of collective estrangement that is specific to living amongst strangers.

I'm a filmmaker and photographer based in Brooklyn. I am passionate about capturing life and I believe images are the most powerful vehicles for story telling. Photography pushes me to interact with the world around me and find beauty in unexpected places and things. I’m grateful that it has allowed me to keep learning through mindful observation.
