ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I believe photography is about finding something interesting in ordinary places. "Spotlight" is one the images in my "Wherever there is light..." series where I study the interaction between light, environment and people. All images are candid photos taken in places surrounding us, like shopping malls. With light, ordinary places and people can be even more beautiful and interesting

Lawrence Cheung is a fine-art photographer.

He was trained professionally in photography at the Open University of Hong Kong

Lawrences works has received recognitions in the international photography circle. His works were accepted in the Singapore International Photography awards in 2014 - 2016 and Trierenberg Super Circuit in 2015-2017

He obtained an Associateship (Visual Art) and Bronze Exhibitor distinctions from The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain in 2013 and the Singapore Photographic Society in 2016, respectively
