ENTRY DESCRIPTION
"If your photos aren't good enough, you aren't close enough" - Robert Capa. Following the master's words, this was an attempt to get as close to the subject as one could, and making an attempt to view the street from his point of view, his sights, his perspective, to the extent possible.
This was shot in one of the market lanes in the Batla House locality (in Okhla, New Delhi, India) when the street market was just about to be put up in the morning.
AUTHOR
An amateur photographer, a former lawyer, on the path of discovering my voice in this new field. As of now, undergoing training and hope to do some good with the skills learnt.
I love shooting in the streets, especially faces, bringing on to the sensor and eventually the screen/print a story which a face might convey through the eyes or a body might tell through its gestures. Always on the lookout for parallels and contradictions in the street, adding some flavour to a scene!
