ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The picture was taken at a remote minority village of Guizhou Province in China.The villager was driving the ox out of the building that the animal was kept called "Gulou", which is a traditional building of this minority nationality,to had a bath.Every village of this minority has at least one "Gulou" and they feed one ox in each this kind of building.What the oxen are expected to do is to battle with other oxen of other villages.If they won,they will enjoy their comfortable life,otherwise ,they will be eaten by villagers because they think it is unfortunate for them to keep a failing ox.
