ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Early in the morning on Maasai Mara in Kenya, a Lion sat on a mount proud and tall, pondering faraway into the horizon. The light was at a perfect angle and turned his eyes into pieces of jewelry, mounted on an ancient statue of something majestic.

AUTHOR
My interest in photography was sparked off by my brother, when he taught me how to use his film camera. But I really have no idea how passionate I am until my first son was born and now I am crazy enough to ride an eight-hours horse trip at remote mountain trail in Northern Xinjiang to capture its stunning landscape. My effort really paid off in 2016 - being won the Grand Award of 2016 National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year!
