ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photograph is really important for me because it is from time when I started to find my own path in photography and really fall in love in painting with light.

About the subject. As a young female I sometimes face prejudice and doubt of my capabilities from myself and others. This picture has a lot to do with the feeling of tranquility and letting go of the inner barriers and respecting your own creations. The woman in the picture has sacred power within her. She shines light all though there are so many heavy forces trying to drag her down. The person in this photo is very dear to me. We met in art school and discovered a lot about our love of photography and art through each other.

This piece was done in studio with long exposure and highlighting parts with flashlight. So the photomanipulation has been done with me flicking the flashlight and giving orders to move hands and fabric to certain direction.
