Architecture: 2nd Place Winner 2018 (professional)
New quarter for the low wage workers in New York by Torsten Andreas Hoffmann (Germany)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In my new series "crazy worlds" I show the shadow of capitalism and globalisation in photomontages which look absolutely realistic. In this photo I show the satirical fiction of slums in the middle of Manhattan. This fiction can come true, because the rents in Manhattan are so high, that a low wage worker never can afford even a little one room appartement. With my new series I want to bring the viewer to think and to ask if we are still on the right path.
