ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photo is part of a series that tries to visualize the momentariness of life and the fragility of the human body. Within a blink of an eye life could end and flesh turns to stone. To realize that we are much longer dead than we are alive should make a difference for how we use our given time.

AUTHOR
After completing her diploma studies at the University of Vienna, she graduated from the Design Photo Academy and passed her exam as a master photographer in the spring of 2014. Since then she works as a photographer, digital artist and make-up artist in Graz. Her field of activity focuses on digital image design and artistic photo design. Through various photographic and postproductive techniques Martina Herz creates her individual metaphoric imagery that is characterised through its critical sensuality.
