ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This was a collaborative shoot between myself and the model, Emma. I had given her some ideas about what I was looking for in the days leading up to the shoot, we had been expecting a dark, wet day at the beach but in the end (in typical British weather style) it turned out to be windy, warm and dry! We amended our plans a little and was grateful that at the last moment I had taken the chair in the back of the car as a possible prop. In the end the most successful images from the shoot incorporated the chair......I love the big skies, wind and the way it tugged at Em's hair

AUTHOR
As a professional photographer having spent the past 15 years specialising in wedding and family portrait work I now enjoy exploring my own ideas and concepts with the aim of building up a body of work which reflects this, without the need to work within the confines of client expectations. Having the seed of an idea and then developing and allowing it to grow and then experimenting with a subject who also enjoys the collaborative process has been a revelation and source of fun this year.
