Fine Art: Honorable Mention 2018 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This is a series of images taken on several graveyards in Bogotá city, I was really attracted to the particular atmosphere of these old spaces, that are charged with a heavy emotional and historical burden, in a way they’re a sort of collage, of puzzle made by the hundreds of tombs and mausoleums that have conformed these graveyards through the pass of time. Using a metal jar as a pinhole camera I was able to expose a photosensitive "plate" built by fragments of kodak film.
This kind of image seemed appropriate to capture the special atmosphere of these spaces
