Fine Art: Honorable Mention 2018 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This work was conducted in a religious community founded entirely on the Holy Bible’s New Testament doctrine and faith.
Uncertainty, faith and suffering lead people to seek signs of divine grace in their lives. Puritan values that appeared to be extinct are passed on from generation to generation.
The right side of this community is reserved only for women and the work is focused on that side, where it was possible to observe and register intimate faith dissolving into the collective faith of this community. Gestures and eye-expressions compose the rhetoric of this work.
