Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2018 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I shot this image during a breezy trade-wind day as you can tell by the palms. This location is pretty iconic on Hawaii, it's been one of the top spots to film Hollywood movies. Locals see it in a much different way. We hike in those mountains, we swim in the ocean across the street, its apart of our daily lives. I chose to shoot this image on my Linholf 617 on Ektar film. The lighting was perfect for the film and romanticized the movement in the palms.
