ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A couple of years ago I made a decision to simply live a more active lifestyle. I wanted to be able to define myself as someone who goes out and sees things, does things. My first charge to myself was to cycle down the west coast of the US from Vancouver, Canada to Tijuana, Mexico. Originally I had thought about documenting the bodies of the cyclists we would meet along the way. When I realized that we were the only people crazy enough to be cycling through Washington in November, I turned the camera on myself. The lens through which I viewed my body suggested that it was an average one. By documenting myself in unique locations on epic trips, I've begun to learn that it might be just a bit above average.
